I know, but that mosque is not even a modern mosque. It's Neo-Ottoman architecture. It's clear what Erdogan's goals are, but it's not like the clowns at the top care.

I thought the mosque in Tirana was a modern one? - I believe it was the BIG studio who won with their design? Read it in the Danish media as it's a Dane who's the founder of that studio and their head architect - considered like an architect rock star by many.

Nobody cares about the architecture, the more concerning part is that it's built with Turkish money. I do see the need for a mosque but for non practicing Albanians this is abut too much.

So is Rama...Well he's actually agnostic, but he said he humans can't tell if there is a God.

This is what he wrote "Unë nuk praktikoj besim tjetër, përveç atij tek vetja dhe tek njerëzit, por nuk besoj se sidoqoftë eksiztenca ose jo e Zotit është një çështje që mund të zgjidhet ndonjëherë nga të vdekshmit."

In a country that was under Ottoman rule for 600 years, you build the biggest religious building in the capital, in neo-Ottoman architecture.

What signal is that sending?

How do we know it's being built with Turkish money?

Also, I care about architecture.

This is what happens when you squeeze the life out of someone. If i have to go to Kosovë one more time and deal with the mentality of many people there i am going to completely burst.

It's been reported for years. It's being funded by foundations close to Erdogan (Diyanet). Erdogan came last year to "inaugurate" it.
