I'd rather have Muci on than Manaj. He's proven he can score from distance. He won't be getting much service.Dallku wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 8:51 pm Team for tomorrow will be as expected. https://www.supersport.al/zbulohet-form ... -polonise/
Albania still has plenty of professionals in there capable of holding on to a draw.
Counter attacking will be miserable though. 0 pace in midfield and attack. Cikalleshi could still pull something out of his ass like he did against the Czechs. Plus Roshi in the 2nd half.

Poor De Biasi keeps getting clapped by Luxemburg.
He should just suck it up and go back home, to Albania.

Luxembourg has improved but It has been a rough run for DB in Azerbaijan. Only 2 wins in 14 games..
We can say Azerbaijan is bad but this is a country that takes their football very seriously. They invest millions in it, they like neutralizing foreigners and Quarabag has consistently made the Euro cups over the years.
It's like De Biasi was just meant for Albania. Nobody else.

The most underrated aspect of that team was Cana. He was reckless at times, but the guy had heart and was a true captain. There's a lethargy amongst our players that we didn't have back then.
When I take a look at some of those players, it shocks me we made it so far. We got lucky with the Serbia call, but we still managed 12 points without in a group that was considered very hard. Why? That team had HEART.

If Trashi, Gjasula, Manaj and Cika are all starting it will be a 2-0 loss for us. Cika is an average poacher at best with no pace or technical ability, Manaj is a pitbull who is useless offensively, Gjasula is technically inept, Trashi is playing in a random Arab league and has no pace.
The same thing that has plagued us for the past three years will plague us again. We’ll lack creativity, width and pace. The wingbacks will be pinned back, the midfield will be under pressure and lose the ball, manaj and Cika will be useless as always.
Reja really needs to be aggressive.

So what's your argument? If Mitaj, Cekici, Broja and Muci would started we would ripped Poland apart? Poland in good day can beat us easily even we have Klopp or Guardiola as manager because it is obvious they have more quality than us. They will have 65-70% of ball possession but let's hope we can defend well and maybe we can snatch positive result because polish defence can be "very generous".artan wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 3:28 am If Trashi, Gjasula, Manaj and Cika are all starting it will be a 2-0 loss for us. It's not that hard for us to score, plenty of nations with worse attackers then us have scored more. They conceded 2 to Slovakia and Iceland, it's sad we don't have Bajrami as we could have even gotten a win here with luck, now it will be very hard. But if they're on a bad day we can grab a goal and try to hold it.

Poland are not that great for them to have 70% possession and dominate , they’re in such poor form and we should take advantage. Time we stop this mentality that we’re inferior , we’re not.
We have a good team now to make the jump , the time is now .

It's has nothing to do with "inferior mentality" but if you compare Poland midfield with our midfield, it is obvious who will have more possession. We are lucky Poland doesn't have Zielinski and Klich tonight.CanaYouDoIt wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 12:37 pm Poland are not that great for them to have 70% possession and dominate , they’re in such poor form and we should take advantage.
