A team full of “semi-professionals” playing in “the depths of Europe” just eliminated EURO champions in Palermo.
Italy (6th ranked) won with the help of the Video Adjusting Results system last summer, and I have now witnessed payback for it!

Sorry man, I'm not a traitor who'd support the Serbs and lives in a different country to Albania.Princ wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 4:20 pm I cheer for the underdog and a good game.

Albania 1-0 Portugal in the same manner, except that Portugal created less that dayRedFootballs wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:38 pmMacedonia have been competitive against top teams for a while now and did very well against Italy in the same WCQ group we were in.CanaYouDoIt wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:13 pm For reference the xG Italy created tonight was at the level that Poland and England created in the games then won 4-1 and 5-0 .
That’s the level of luck we’re talking , how often do guys like Berardi miss those chances ?
That's not a coincidence. We would never win a game like they won today.
Cika shenoi me penallti ndaj Frances ne minuten e fundit ne 2019. Garbage goal in garbage time. One of the worst performances ever. Only the one in Wembley was worse.RedFootballs wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 5:26 pmThat was 8 years ago.
We have since then not won a single point vs any top team, a single point.
In fact, don't think we've even scored a goal against a top team in a competitive fixture in 8 years. Lol
Honestly pathetic. We haven't put in even a good performance against a big team since Portugal, let alone win any points.Plako wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 6:01 pmCika shenoi me penallti ndaj Frances ne minuten e fundit ne 2019. Lets look at the games in that time we've both played against "big" teams like it matters anyway.RedFootballs wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 5:26 pmThat was 8 years ago.CanaYouDoIt wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:57 pmWdym ? Valued only at €350k, it is not the first time this “semi-professional” scrub from the Saudi Arabian league has ripped the net of Italy in their house. He tied the match 1-1 back in 2017 WCQ, taking a point home to Macedonia.
Alex shows up when it matters!
He's spent most his career playing the Belgium, Italian and Spanish leagues. Not a bum but a guy who's played in professional leagues his whole careerDallku wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 6:36 pmPrinc wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 6:30 pm Alexander “The Great” Trajkovski scored one of the best goals I have seen with my eyes last night.

That's a former Serie A player with a lot of games for Palermo. It's like Pandev. Too old to do it consistently but the individual quality can strike at any moment.
If he was a career Saudi Arabia player he wouldn't do shit.
