With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

The top 3 Israeli teams are on par with Dinamo Zagreb, Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Olympiakos, etc..
Not that high..
Israeli league is on par with Cyprus league.
More or less but Maccabi Haifa smoked both Olympiakos and Zvezda a month ago. Israeli teams are very competitive.
The top Cypriot teams would smoke Aberdeen too. They are just as competitive as the best teams from the Balkans and the Israeli ones.
Players from Aberdeen and Lokomotiva Zagreb are not serious players unless they are young supertalents or on the come up like Rrahmani was. Players who stay there for like a year and move on. Players who don't move on and stay at those levels for years (like Enis Cokaj, Mersinaj, Ramadani) are absolute dogshit that's why they can't upgrade.
So even Myrto Uzuni(who's mediocre for top league) was a huge difference maker for that Aberdeen/Lokomotiva level. That's why he moved on.
In general in all of the leagues in Europe outside the top leagues (England, Italy, Germany, Spain, France ,etc) each league has 2-3 "Good" teams and the rest of the teams are pretty much just village clubs that are interchangeable between the countries.
For example, Serbia is the 11th ranked country per UEFA coefficient but I doubt there is a difference between Partizani, Tirana, etc, and any team besides Red Star and Partizan in Serbia. I don't think any of us are advocating for Seferi, Totre or Toli for the NT since they play in Ukraine. Or someone like Jorgo Pellumbi or Agon Elezi since their team is 3rd place in Croatia currently.

By that logic, Roshi sucks!
In reality, he was one of most dangerous attackers in the Balkans during his time..
“I hate that topic even today. It’s football, not politics. That gesture has no place on the football field. It’s stupidity, we’re not playing war. I was accused in Kosovo then that I didn’t participate in that gesture. The players of Serbia are my friends , were born after the war.” - Valon Behrami
Respect to Valon Behrami!
Never one to hide his true thoughts and play the Facebook patriot, unlike teammates Xhaka, Shaqiri. Hell of a player in his day, I will not forget how he bullied the Brazilians in Russia. He was everywhere that night!

Roshi does suck and his career confirms it but for Albania he stood out because he was the only fast/athletic player Albania player ever had in its history.
That's why Broja is such a unicorn for Albania. He goes completely against Albanian tradition.(slow, short and technically limited)

Sounds like a bitch to me. He also took part in the swearing of Serbian fans so it’s not so performative
