Serbia have the same mental block that we do.
They have such good talent and players but can't compete with top teams at all, whilst teams like Hungary do more with a lot less.
So painfully average despite having plenty of quality players.
No passion in them either despite what Princ will tell you.

They always had a loser mentality in tournaments which is fascinating because their cousins Croatia are the exact opposite.
I expect the Swiss to beat them too.

Don't think we'll ever manage to produce talented players the way the Serbs have been doing recently.
Actually a comparison between Hungary and Albania would be more reasonable.

Serbia’s talent is not what is once was. Lots of mediocre players and Vlahovic on the bench doesn’t help. Mediocre backline at best and below average wingbacks. Their central midfield pairing isn’t bad but they will always going to get overrun by Brazil.
I’m not sure why the manager didn’t incorporate Vlahovic and Kostic in the lineup some how

Serbia is now favoured to beat Switzerland on December 2nd..
Bet365
Serbia ~39%
X ~28%
Switzerland ~32%
Serbia big, strong team, will make a lot of noise in this competition. Do not let a loss against the clear tourney favourite fool you. Any other team and the result looks much different.
Referee was practically wearing a Brazilian jersey last night. Blew his whistle anytime there was even the slightest contact towards Brazilian superstars. Did not call it both ways..
To win outright
Brazil +230
France +650
England +650
Spain +650
Argentina +900

Croatia has been producing way better players, there's no comparison between the two.Dallku wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 9:49 pmRedFootballs wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 9:46 pm Serbia have the same mental block that we do.

Serbian players are very overrated and most of their "talents" were frauds. Serbia has benefited mostly from yugoslavian reputation on world stage so they have so many ex-players and coaches who have influence and connections in top european clubs. For young serbian players one good season is enough to be considered as "next big thing" and secure transfer in very good european club.artan wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 1:56 am Serbia’s talent is not what is once was.
