Uzuni is no world beater but still serviceable with 5 goals and 6 assists in 31 matches (2061 minutes).
Inefficient shooter but knows how to play off the ball. Decently quick, makes good runs, gets into scoring positions, always in shape, gives 100% on the pitch, etc.
A lot of nice qualities for a winger, but does seem to struggle when matched up with big, physical Slavic opponents. Started last 2 matches against Poland and both times one of the worst rated players on the pitch (6.5 rating both matches Sofascore, failed the eye test too).
Myrto may match up better against smaller, less physical teams. He has scored huge goals at top 10 ranked Spain and UNL group winner Israel. Uzuni is an experienced player with a strong club career, and most likely our best option at winger.

Panorama Sport says that Sylvinho is considering Bekim Balaj for September matches. Most depressing news possible

Please make it Vrioni, Balaj literally has nothing to give. He is an absolute scrub at this point and this would be the worst thing Sylvinho could do.

If Broja can't make it, we should play Muci as false nine. Muci is a much better option than going back to bs Balaj or Vrioni. I can already see Cika useless too in these 2 games, so it's gotta be Muci upfront, Sylvinho needs to surprise the opponents here.

Not the time for experiments. Albania goes into Prague as an underdog looking to escape with a positive result. We need experienced players out there in front of a hostile crowd.
Starting a guy with 96 total minutes played seems like a bad idea. Muci’s time will come but he should be activated off the bench here, if at all.

Think Sylvinho sees him as a winger. It’s why I said we could move Uzuni ST especially with the addition of Muja. Asani, Muci, Mehmeti and Muja is plenty of options for 2 games.Klejdi1023 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 12:40 am If Broja can't make it, we should play Muci as false nine. Albania is basically trying to qualify without a goalkeeper, Broja and Kumbulla (who would have great matchups).
If Sylvinho manages to pull this miracle off it will be more impressive than what any other coach has done.

Broja is the key. This guy was the reason Reja even had job. Single handily got us 6 points in qualifying vs Hungary. Imagine we had that firepower upfront compared to the old cika we have now.

If Sylvinho can pull it off, it would be special that he did it in his very first campaign coaching the team. That being said..
To beat out the accomplishments of Gani Abazi, you need to do some serious climbing up the rankings.
