What sucks is that he was pretty good besides that.

But goalkeepers and defenders are only judged on errors.

I always argued in Asani’s favour, but he definitely needs to be dropped from the starting line up after this.

We are going into the Euros which starts in 30 days with a non existent offensive. Asani, Bajrami, Broja not playing for their clubs. My worst nightmare of a 34 year old Cikalleshi leading the line is slowing becoming a reality at this point. Daku has been slowly picking up his form and is scoring for the past 2 months, but probably won’t start.

He doesn't look overweight. That doesn't sound right. Who knows what happened behind the scenes.

In any case, it's put us in a very difficult position, because two of the most important attackers, at least theoretically, have both played basically no minutes for almost a year (Broja more like 2 years).

Maybe I see Asani starting one of the games just because it's unlikely we win anyway so Sylvinho will still want to try him but it's really a bad sign to have a player who isn't playing in South Korea to be an attacker you rely on.

Whereas our most in form attacker, Manaj, is great for his club, but the truth is he probably will continue to be poor for the NT due to low work rate and terrible mentality.

I don't know, I think we need other solutions, maybe to convince Gruda to come, or actually possibly even start Daku, who has always been quite impressive. Then we need to analyse our winger options.

However, all this is a bit of a waste of time considering we have no real qualification options so we may as well just use it as a tournament to gain experience and possibly attract some young players.

Asani is definitely one of those that you won't hear from again after the Euros. He's closer to signing for Big Brother Albania than a club.

His fluke run of games helped qualify Albania so he'll still remain a legend like Balaj and Sadiku.

Manaj played a fantastic game, it was against the worst team, but he was amazing and so unlucky not to score.

Great dribbling and movement this game, he looked more mobile than usual, but could be because of the poor opposition.

Gruda had phenomenal game, scored and made fantastic assist to keep Mainz on Bundesliga.

We have to try everything to get Gruda. Like a Broja he elevates us to the next level. Whatever it takes.

Medon Berisha starting for Lecce. Won't be surprised if he's a regular starter next season.

Unfortunately, if Gruda will not come now, it is unlikely he ever will.

He'll probably be good enough to get a couple caps for Germany maybe and then never play international football again.

So many times we see the same thing and they never learn.
