With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Does anyone know what the deal is with Zhegrova and his passport? Does he not have a German passport? Why does he need an Albanian passport?
He was close to getting transfered to Juventus. Albanian passport makes him a local in Italy and the team doesn't have to free foreigner spots (max 2 players that are not EU citizens). So Edi Rama is a Juventus fan and probably made them a favour.

Nicolo Schira (reliable journalist) posted yesterday that Juventus bid 12 million for him.
That's a laughable amount nowadays for a quality winger in his prime. I'm surprised there is so little interest for Zhegrova. Could it be because of the rumors that he's a selfish/bad personality in the locker room?

It's because his contract is expiring next summer. Expiring players never sell for much.

And has yet to play this year because of his injury.
Zhegrova might seem as arrogant, but he was the one who publicly stood up against FFK's amateurish way of running things and argued against that Slovenian wannabe coach of Kosova live on tv, which forced FFK shortly after to fire him.
Even though Russia got worse after it came under sanction its still not a bad league and its strength can be compared to the likes of Croatia, Poland etc.
With his performance there, it is likely he will be offered a move to a top5 league in the winter, and I don't expect him to be cheap either, he is hugely important for his club.
He could sell for 5-6 million or more.
His performance is very impressive especially considering he doesn't play for the best team.
I said this before, but if you fuse Daku and Manaj together you might get a decent footballer. Individually though they're too incomplete to be a good CF.
Manaj is too scrawny, short and mentally weak for top teams, while Daku is 0 on the ball.
"Cheap things you can buy in bulk, but Bulku is priceless" Ervin Xhevahir Bulku
Daku has size and can play physical. He atleast has some attributes. Manaj is just a lazy goal poacher who can’t score, he has no attributes.
Manaj might be the luckiest player. Talent wise he’s no better than guys like Skuka, Abazaj, etc, but he’s lucky he got a few appearances for Inter that he has been living off since. It also helps he’s from Lushnjë. If he was from Gjakova or Tetova he would have been dropped a while ago.
