It was one of those typical upsets where the weaker team bunkered for 85 minutes and caught them on fast counter attacks with the 2 Africans up top who were fast as shit. This is why pace kills.

What confused me about Turkey is that they play without a striker. It's all wingers and #10s. They need some physicality up front.

We have like Broja who is tall but his mental state is something to be worried rather about.

Height might give you advantages, but I doubt height is a really an aspect of matter for Bosnias playstyle. Further Japan tied to Netherlands despite being physically shorter on average than the Dutchman per average. Czechias midfielders are tall as well yet they kept losing to South Korea.

We should stop the weird height complex comparison to Slavs. We somehow managed to deal with Serbs who also had taller players than us. While difference not being that big either.

There are other abilities and aspects that win you games and height isn‘t really that of a big issue nowadays.

These Slavic teams are tall but they are pretty slow/unathletic. They are not modern players. The modern athlete is tall but very mobile and versatile.

That's why Broja was so unique. He had the height and the athleticism to go with it but the ACL injury ruined his career and potential.
